Short-eared Owl
The bird that got me into birding with a first memorable experience that I will never forget.
A lifetime experience with goosebumps of sharing a sunset with this magnificent bird while looking into each other’s eyes,
got me hooked for life in the search for similar experiences.
Snowy Owl
This majestic Owl is a regular in our marshes across the province but not every year is the same.
Great Horned Owl
This very seclusive Owl is not an easy one to observe in the province.
Barred Owl
This owl is probably the most common in the province.
Burrowing Owl
This Burrowing Owl was a 1-time visit and stayed for about a month in Grand Manan at Castalia Marsh.
There was 1 other record in 1978 at Fort Beausejour in Aulac in Westmorland County.
Northern Saw-whet Owl
This is the smallest and probably hardest to see in his habitat.
