Excellent! Friendly and knowledgeable guides, amazing winter birds, especially the 5 owls, great accommodation, and ideal group size. I was very pleased with this tour! Very friendly, determined to find birds, patient, flexible… |

5 Stars | First exposure with Eagle Eyes Tours and considering target species as well as overall accommodations, for me the experience ended with satisfactory results. Guides were very hospitable, pleasant, knowledgeable, and attuned to fulfilling requests from their clients. Based on this experience, I will look at a return visit for owls missed on this trip or perhaps some other tour by EE. Very knowledgeable, accommodating & enjoyable to be with. | Excellent |
4 Stars | I had a great time on the tour. The variety of species seen exceeded my expectations. As a newer birder, the guides were very helpful, patient, and encouraging – as were the other participants. I appreciated the expectation that seating arrangements in the vans were switched. | Great |
4 Stars | We were blessed with an improvement in the weather from the previous week and saw all the target species I came to see, except the Boreal Owl | Great |
4 Stars | We would consider ourselves to be fairly novice birders and people who are happy to spot and see all kinds of birds and just enjoy being outdoors. As such, the Manitoba Owl experience was, indeed, very special for us. It was amazing to see owls in their own environments – and equally exciting to spot other birds that we had not seen before. We found it helpful to have such knowledgeable guides. | Great |
5 Stars | The guides made the tour what it was. They were all very knowledgeable, determined, enthusiastic, and encouraging. It was clear they were as excited to see the owls and other birds as the participants were. They really did their best to find the participants’ target species. On occasion, the guides (Josh in particular) could have spent more time stopping to ensure all members of the group saw the bird and if possible, had an opportunity to photograph it. There were times it appeared he was just satisfied to see the bird himself and carry on. | Excellent |
4 Stars | The guides were extremely knowledgeable and were always able to answer any questions we had about the birds we observed. We appreciated their ability to track and locate the owls based on the most up-to-date information they received and were always mindful of respecting the birdlife we encountered (e.g., ensuring a large group would not be intrusive or a disturbance). We felt that our driving guide was very skilled at both spotting birds AND being a safe driver. This was important to us given the winter conditions that might have arisen during our tour. | Great |
