A well-run tour with two guides who knew the habitats and birds and managed the diverse participants very well.

The marshes were particularly wonderful with natural vegetation. The pelagic trip was a highlight for sure, with great bird
and whale sightings.

It was a very nice trip overall. The guides were perfect, the itinerary was well planned, and we were lucky to have good weather.

Very helpful and patient. Made sure everyone saw the birds. Took us to a variety of places.

They were great at spotting and identifying birds. They were very kind and responded to any particular needs of the group or of individuals.

Both guides were exceptional. Mitch was more knowledgeable about the New Brunswick/Grand Manan area. He lives there.

Each had a great personalities and are customer-oriented. On this trip, Mitch was more outgoing; however, they worked well together. A variety of foods were available daily for those on special diets. Lunch was awesome. Our time was well managed. I never felt rushed, and yet I felt each day was filled with wonderful experiences. I didn’t wear the right clothing for the pelagic trip. Mitch graciously loaned me his jacket. Every day was awe-inspiring and I would not hesitate booking this tour again.

Both are remarkably talented and experienced, able to locate and ID birds quickly and remain patient when participants could not locate. Mitch was incredibly generous in offering his home on Grand Manan for two evenings. Much appreciated.

Both guides were great in their respective jobs. They did put in the effort to help us find the birds.
They knew their birds and were always helping everyone to ensure they saw it. Both of them were approachable and would agree to our requests whenever feasible. They did a phenomenal job with our lunch setup, I’m happy with the limited
resources and means that they had. They always ensured they were carrying enough water for everyone, which is appreciated. They managed their time well, including all possible activities. 

The guides were amazing! Eagle Eye is super lucky to have them both. Jared is super funny, accommodating, patient, and a
great driver (he drove the biggest vehicle). He made sure everyone had what they needed and knew what they were looking at.

Mitch is special. His passion for the area, caring for and respecting the birds and hosting skills elevated the experience immensely. If I’m ever able to do an Eagle Eye tour again, I hope I can have both of these guides again. Maybe on Vancouver Island!

Both Mitch and Jared have a wealth of birding experience and knowledge that they readily shared with everyone.

They were patient and made a point of connecting with everyone. They worked well together. I loved their enthusiasm when an unexpected or more rare bird showed up. I appreciate Mitch’s photos on FB. They both were very safe drivers of the vans.

This is the second tour I have gone on with Mitch. He’s great. Very experienced, talented, friendly, and helpful. Mitch is able to juggle a variety of concerns that go well beyond the basic responsibilities of managing a birdwatching tour. Jerod is also very experienced and friendly.
